So the third Thursday of every month, the Kindergartners have bento lunch day. (aka, brown paper bag lunch). Normally, they eat the schools healthy lunch. The Kindergartners have to have a cup with a cup bag, placemat, silverware and a drawstring like bag to put their bento box and the rest of the gear. I went to buy a matching set for Micah, and they were so expensive, around $75 to outfit a plastic bento box, silverware, lunchbox, cup, placemat and cup bag. I decided to sew some of it and buy the rest. I love the Shinkansen theme, so I bought fabric on sale and made this small set. Now I just need to buy the bento box and the silverware to match! I have couple weeks to buy them.
